Three major details coming from the opening ceremonies:
WoW Classic is going to come out in summer of 2019.
Classic will also be available with a WoW subscription. No extra subscription required. This seems to me to be a really elegant way of managing it, preventing players from splitting up between the two versions of WoW.
Finally, we got a new cinematic - not nearly as long as the Old Soldier one, but it continues the story, giving us one particularly interesting development:
Anduin, worrying that the Alliance is struggling too hard to contain Sylvanas, goes into the Stockades and speaks with Saurfang. Speaking of their goals in this war, Saurfang says that he spared Anduin's life in the hopes that he could beat Sylvanas and restore the Horde to some semblance of honor. Anduin confesses he does not think he can do that - alone.
And so Anduin leaves the door open, letting Saurfang free.
