If you're blinded by your rose-colored glasses, I've got good news for you! Blizzard is planning to (eventually) create classic servers for WoW.
We don't have many details here, but aside from announcing it and jokingly (maybe?) suggesting that the old server shards they auctioned off for charity might need to be bought back, we don't have any indication on when this would happen. As someone who loves a ton of features that came in later expansions, I really don't imagine I'll be doing much with these.
